Redactorii revistei Classic Rock Magazine au întocmit un top al celor mai bune 40 de balade rock. Nicio trupă nu apare în clasament cu mai mult de o piesă, altfel jurnaliștii ar fi ales doar piese din repertoriul Toto și REO Speedwagon. Iată ce a ieșit (click pe fiecare titlu pentru a asculta):
