Gala Premiilor Grammy 2016 are loc pe 15 februarie 2016 la Staples Center din Los Angeles. Evenimentul este difuzat de CBS. Nominalizații pentru cea de-a 58-a ediţie a Premiilor Grammy (eveniment prezentat de National Academy of Recording Arts & Sciences), au fost anunțați pe 7 decembrie 2015. Artiştii cu cele mai multe nominalizări sunt: rapperul Kendrick Lamar (11 nominalizări), megastarul Taylor Swift (7 nominalizări) precum şi solistul pop din Canada, The Weekend (7 nominalizări).
Courtney Barnett (solistă din Australia) a fost nominalizată la Premiile Grammy pentru prima dată, la categoria New Artist.

Trupa The Hollywood Vampires (Alice Cooper, Johnny Depp, Duff McKagan și Joe Perry) îi va aduce un tribut lui Lemmy Kilmister la Premiile Grammy. Încă nu au fost anunțate piesele pe care trupa le va interpreta în memoria frontman-ului formației Motorhead, care a murit pe 28 decembrie, dar Alice Cooper a declarat pentru Rolling Stone că pe 12 februarie vor lansa o piesă originală, intitulată „As Bad As I Am”. Alături de trupa The Hollywood Vampires vor urca pe scenă și Matt Sorum (baterist GNR), Tommy Henriksen (chitarist) și Bruce Witkin (chitarist și pianist).
