Clasamentul întocmit de revista americană Rolling Stone și publicat în urmă cu două zile, a stârnit controverse în rândul iubitorilor de muzică și a fost comentat acid de numeroase reviste de muzică din lumea întreagă. Prog Rock Magazine se întreabă cum se face că bateriști precum Carl Palmer, Mike Portnoy, Gavin Harrison, Pat Mastelotto sau Marco Minnemann nici măcar nu au intrat în acest Top 100.
