Jeff Beck s-a înbolnăvit şi a plecat după care a format trupă nouă cu Rod Stewart şi Ronnie Wood. Au rămas Keith Relf (vocal), Chris Dreja, chitară, Jim McCarty la tobe… după o vreme a plecat şi basistul Paul Samwell Smith. A fost înlocuit cu un chitarist, Jimmy Page. Care a făcut schimb de instrumente cu Dreja şi a rămas la chitară solo.
