1991 – Solista country Dottie West a suferit un grav accident rutier în drum spre Nashville. După 5 zile a decedat în spital.
1995 – James Taylor a cântat alături de Carly Simon într-un spectacol umanitar, Livestock 95. Cei doi foşti soţi nu mai cântaseră împreună de 16 ani.
